2020 was one for the record books, the first year since the inception of the camp in 1928 where there was no campers due to COVID19. Troop Camping was not allowed due to restrictions imposed by NYS Health Department which governs overnight camps. Family Camp was able to open, due to a different license from NYS, but there was no regular troop summer camping at TMR.
The TMR Museum needed to go virtual as well, and its annual TMR Museum Historian Program was moved online as well.
The Museum produced a No COVID We are in this Together Jacket Patch so it could produce online programming and cover operating expenses.
