1949 seemed to mark the beginning of era of individual camp staff neckerchiefs at Ten Mile River. Camp Ihpetonga, was part of the Brooklyn Scout Camps at Ten Mile River Scout Caqmps. It was located on the Delaware River side of the camp. It eventually closed after the 1966 Summer Camp Season. Camp Iphetonga was also know as Iphetonga Village.
Here is the 1949 Camp Iphetonga 1949 Staff Neckerchief one of several staff neckerchiefs I picked up a couple of months back.
