Off the Beaten Path: Dazzling views, history
The only Ten Mile River Boy Scouts Camp trail open to the public, Tusten Mountain Trail loops through thickets of woods and past remnants of an early settlement before ascending nearly 600 feet. The top offers a sweeping view of the Delaware River Valley.
“It’s a view that’s good for all seasons — whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter,” said Art Hawker, historian for the Town of Tusten.
